Michael Ruane is the SunGard Availability Services executive vice president of finance. He joined SunGard in 1985 and has served as chief financial officer at SunGard Data Systems since 1994.
Michael has also held the positions of controller and chief financial officer of the risk and derivatives group.
From 1976 to 1984, Michael was an audit manager at Coopers & Lybrand with a variety of clients in the brokerage and software industries.
Michael is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from LaSalle University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
