Nick Magliato, chief operations officer, leads SunGard Availability Services’ infrastructure engineering and operations organizations. Nick is responsible for our operational excellence—finding new ways to solve customer problems, add value, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Nick joins us from CRGT, Inc., an IT consulting firm, where he was responsible for leading the organization’s growth through organic development of new offerings and acquisitions. Prior to CRGT, Nick was chief executive officer of Trust Digital (acquired by McAfee). Trust Digital was recognized as the industry leader in the smartphone management and security space. Previously, Nick led the global services platform team at USinternetworking (acquired by AT&T) where he managed the entire service delivery platform. He was also general manager of the private networks business at Digex (now part of Verizon Business), a company that pioneered the Internet and web hosting space. Nick started his career at Accenture where he focused on developing OSS/BSS platforms for telecommunication service providers.
Nicks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences with a minor in mathematics from Syracuse University, as well as business training from both Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management.
