As executive vice president, North American sales and marketing, Pat is responsible for driving SunGard resources to pursue the most attractive growth opportunities, best utilize multiple go-to-market channels, and communicate consistently with customers and partners.
Pat leads direct, inside, software, and channels sales, including sales support functions such as operations, training and solutions engineering. This, paired with Pat's responsibility for the management of all marketing initiatives, ensures a tight linkage between sales and marketing in revenue development initiatives that address customers’ most compelling needs.
Pat joined SunGard in 2003 and has held senior leadership roles including product management, strategy, building the channels organization, and serving as chief marketing officer.
With a background in both large and emerging markets, Pat's experience includes close to a decade at AT&T within its business services units. At AT&T, Pat held a range of positions in sales, marketing and product management, supporting a diverse set of services including Internet, data, network security and hosting. Pat's last role at AT&T was marketing director for data and hosting services in the company’s middle market segment. He was also a sales executive supporting AT&T enterprise accounts. Prior to joining SunGard, Pat was co-founder and vice president of marketing at CarrierChoice, a provider of enterprise telecom procurement solutions.
Pat received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Saint Joseph's University.
