As senior vice president of human resources at SunGard Availability Services, Patrick is responsible for leading both strategic and tactical human resources initiatives intended to attract, develop, excite, and retain an outstanding group of individuals that as a team outperforms our competitors.
Patrick joins us after eight years at DuPont Company where he last served as the director of talent management. In this role, he was tasked with developing and implementing policies in the areas of strategic workforce planning, sourcing, recruiting and selection, organization development and effectiveness, employee communications, diversity, leadership development, and succession planning.
Before his last assignment, Patrick held several other leadership roles with DuPont, including global HR business partner for the DuPont Safety Resources business and the Global Sourcing and Logistics group, and the vice president of human resources for the DuPont-owned company Pioneer Hi-Bred International. Earlier in his career, Patrick served in various HR roles at PECO Energy Company, GTE, MCI, the National Labor Relations Board, and served as an employee benefits consultant for Towers Perrin.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University.
