Work Force Assessment – a module within SunGard’s Continuity Management Solution (CMS) platform – provides a clear understanding of work force criticality and availability to strengthen planning efforts. The tool includes a comprehensive survey covering:

  • Transportation to work in an emergency;
  • Ability to work at home effectively;
  • Personal preparedness;
  • Employee criticality for business continuity; and
  • Consultant/contractor availability.

The software’s unique ranking system identifies staffing issues that may require attention, such as identifying alternates for critical employees who may be unavailable in an emergency. The module includes 30 standard reports to support personnel decisions at the manager, department, and organization level.

Although fully integrated with other modules in the CMS platform, Work Force Assessment can be used as a stand-alone tool, with a standard survey and reports that can be implemented almost immediately.
