News: Sungard AS Further Invests in Its Workplace Recovery Centres

    January 8, 2018
As part of our continued investment in our Workplace Recovery facilities, Sungard Availability Services is to roll out some 7,500 new ultrawide monitors to all Shared Workplace positions throughout the UK.

The state-of-the-art Dell P2317H flat screens will be introduced in H1 of 2018, with a flexible timetable that allows us to reschedule around invocations and testing to ensure the deployment will not adversely affect you.

We're sure you will find the new widescreen HD monitors a vast improvement, enabling your staff to work comfortably with less stress. Dell's ComfortView feature reduces harmful blue light emission onscreen and with direct current, gives a flicker-free viewing experience.

At 23 inches, the new screens are considerably larger than our existing monitors and fully adjustable, so users can choose the angle, height and position that best suits them. The technically-minded may be interested to know that the Dell monitors promise complete clarity with consistent colour representation and a high 4 million: 1 dynamic contrast ratio.

Dual-screen Working at All Sungard AS UK Sites

We're also pleased to announce that while the new monitors are rolled out, we will also upgrade a number of Shared Workplace positions at all of our UK recovery centres to allow dual-screen working, which is rapidly becoming the norm for many customers.

    Investment in Recovery Centres

This one million pounds plus investment follows the PC refresh undertaken in 2016 and, more recently, the sizeable investment in upgrading our Southwark Bridge Road Workplace Recovery Centre in London, which is currently underway. Additionally, Sungard AS Ireland is now able to offer companies Shared Workplace Recovery services for the first time with the expansion of its Workplace Recovery Centre in Dublin, which now offers a total of 80 shared workplace positions in two purpose built suites.
