Sungard Availability Services received the Gold Stevie® Award for computer services in the third annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers
WAYNE, Pa. – September 21, 2018 – Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) received the Gold Stevie® Award for computer services in the third annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers. The award recognizes Sungard AS’ improvements to its employee experience, including enhancing its onboarding process, expanding its development opportunities, and establishing new and exciting ways to empower employees to own their career path.

The judges were equally impressed with Sungard AS’ programs to address the growth and development of its employees. Judges specifically called out its Strengths-Based Development Program, which helps employees identify their greatest strengths to improve self-awareness and relationships with their work, coworkers and managers.
This is the latest of several Stevie awards for Sungard AS, including a Silver Award for “Woman of the Year” for Susan Lynch, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and a Bronze Award for “IT Executive of the Year” for Chris Fielding, Chief Information Officer, both honored at the 15th Annual International Business Awards®.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, September 21.
More than 50 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
