Robert E. Guth, Chairman
Robert Guth is an operations-oriented executive with a demonstrated background of driving growth and building shareholder value serving in operating roles as well as independent director roles. Mr. Guth has extensive experience driving business transformation, building financing and investor relations, maximizing operating expenses and efficiently driving expense-reduction programs, and dramatically improving business performance and long-term health after financial restructurings. He has held multiple executive leadership roles and independent director roles within the telecommunications and technology industries. Most recently, he served as interim president and CEO at Integra Telecom, after serving on Integra’s Board as the executive chairman, and as an independent director and member of the audit committee. Mr. Guth also served as board chairman for Lumos Networks; chairman, president and CEO at The Reader’s Digest Association; and multiple other independent director roles. He was also president, business markets group at Level 3 Communications; chairman, president and CEO at TelCove; and served in various roles in technology and sales management with AT&T earlier in his career. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University and completed the executive program in industrial marketing management at Pennsylvania State University.
Jarrett B. Appleby
Jarrett Appleby is a senior advisor with The Blackstone Group, where he brings more than 25 years of experience in successfully developing and executing growth strategies for technology platform and IT solutions companies in competitive global markets. Mr. Appleby has demonstrated expertise in transforming go-to-market strategies, execution and messaging in the integrated communications, data center and IT solutions industries. He has held senior executive leadership roles with Digital Realty Trust and CoreSite Realty, Inc., where he was chief operating officer; Equinix, Inc., where he was chief marketing officer; Reliance GlobalCom, LTD, where he was chief strategy and marketing officer; and MCI Communications, where he was senior vice president of strategy & corporate development, among others. Mr. Appleby serves on various boards and as an advisor to various technology platform and IT solutions companies. He received a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from Lehigh University.
Jacob Gladstone is a principal with GSO Capital Partners LP, where he focuses on distressed and special situations investing. Before joining GSO, Mr. Gladstone was an analyst on the credit strategy desk at the Royal Bank of Scotland covering the retail, consumer and food sector, with primary focus on high-yield and distressed issuers. Mr. Gladstone graduated with a joint major in business and public policy from Franklin & Marshall College.
Glori Holzman Graziano
Glori Holzman Graziano is a managing director supporting The Carlyle Group’s U.S. Structured Credit and Direct Lending Platforms. She joined Carlyle in 2001 and has served in several different capacities in the global credit business, including co-head of credit research, bond portfolio manager and head of the investment committee for the U.S. structured credit business. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Holzman Graziano spent many years as a high-yield research analyst at various firms, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and NationsBanc. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MBA from George Washington University.
Kenichiro Jin is a managing director in the liquid credit and special situations group at FS Investments, focusing on opportunistic credit investments across various sectors. Previously, Mr. Jin was a partner and founding team member of Magnolia Road Capital LP, a global event-driven credit investment fund focusing on investment opportunities across both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Magnolia, he was vice president at Strategic Value Partners, LLC, leading the firm’s investment opportunities in the gaming, real estate, technology, media and telecom sectors. Before this, he served as an investment analyst at Silver Point Capital LP. Mr. Jin began his career at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in its special situations group. Mr. Jin received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Michael K. Robinson
Michael (Mike) K. Robinson serves as chief executive officer (CEO), president and member of the board of managers of Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS). Mr. Robinson brings extensive operating and board leadership in public and private communications, technology and infrastructure companies. His focus encompasses strategy development and execution, driving business transformation, leading company culture, and concentrating on stakeholder value. His customer-centric approach prioritizes the needs of Sungard AS’ production, recovery and managed services customers to ensure their business resilience. Previous to Sungard AS, Mr. Robinson served as CEO, president and member of the Board of Directors for Broadview Networks; and chief financial officer and executive vice president for US LEC Corp., among other executive roles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics from Emory & Henry College and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
Bryan Rush joined Angelo Gordon in 2008 and is a managing director in the distressed debt group. Before joining Angelo Gordon, Mr. Rush spent three years in the restructuring advisory group at Jefferies & Co. He has focused his investments in media and telecom, retail, intellectual property, real estate, homebuilding and building products, infrastructure and litigation claims. Mr. Rush served on the board of Dominion Homes, a former Angelo Gordon portfolio company. He has both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a master’s in professional accounting from the University of Texas.
Michael Tobin OBE
Michael Tobin is a highly successful and well-recognized technology entrepreneur and pioneer with over 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications and technology sector. He was honored in 2014 with the Order of British Empire (OBE) medal for services to the digital economy. Notably, Mr. Tobin led Telecity Group, plc., a leading FTSE250 technology company from 2002 to 2014. During his tenure, he took the company private, led its business transformation by growing organically and through acquisition, and successfully re-listed it. His recognitions at Telecity include the London Business Awards for Business Turnaround of the Year (2005), UK Innovation Awards IPO of the Year and techMARK Personality of the Year (2008). Prior to joining Telecity, Mr. Tobin headed up Fujitsu’s eCommerce operations in Germany. He also ran ICL’s Danish outsourcing subsidiary out of Denmark, among other leadership roles. Mr. Tobin’s expertise is highly sought and he serves as an advisor and independent director on several boards. Among his many additional accolades, Ernst & Young named him UK IT Services Entrepreneur of the Year (2009, 2010, 2011), PWC Tech CEO of the Year in 2007, Outstanding Contribution to the Data Centre Industry at the Data Centre Europe awards (2008), Outstanding Non-Executive Director of the Year in the Best of Business Awards and the Global Business Excellence Awards, Chairman of the Year by the Stevie Awards (2016), Datacentre and Cloud Influencer of the Decade at the Broadgroup Industry Awards, and Smith and Williamson’s Top 25 Power Individuals of Industry (2017). In addition to his many business and technology recognitions, he is well known and respected for his charitable work, which has primarily focused on the education, welfare and empowerment of young people and children around the world.
