Senior Vice President, Sales, EMEA & India
Chris Huggett brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing and leadership experience to Sungard AS, having worked with several leading technology firms including Hewlett Packard (HP), 3Com, Vodafone, Cisco Systems and Dell. He leads the European sales team covering markets including the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland. Chris also leads Sungard AS’ sales team in India.
Chris has developed wide-ranging experiences working in the UK and international markets, across product sales, marketing and account management. He has a proven track record for re-engineering go-to-market (GTM) strategies and as a sales leader.
Most recently, Chris served as Managing Director, Daisy Corporate Services, where he was tasked with the integration of four different business units. He worked to create from these multiple acquisitions a single GTM structure. Harnessing his entrepreneurial experience, Chris succeeded in creating one single governance model, including a unified sales organisation and sales methodology as well as numerous portfolio improvements.
Previously, Chris spent several years at HP after its acquisition of 3Com, where he led a specialist global account team for HP Networking including OEM sales. While at 3Com, he built and led the largest, fastest-growing and most profitable sales region in the company.
Chris studied Linguistics at the Universities of York, UK and Kiel, Germany and received a diploma in Marketing from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is based in the Sungard AS London office.
